If there’s no give and take in friendships, how do you think it will last? One says it’s always them giving and then the other says its always them giving. There’s no selfless-ness and willingness to overlook. and if there’s no ability to give in on either part, then maybe your friendship was hollow from the start.
Let it go. Let it pass through you, and make sure that things are clear, between both of you, even if your mad. All that’s going on is madness. You think that giving up this person is the best thing for you, then fine let that person go. But keep in mind that, it’s true: you choose your friends. And if you chose them in the beginning to be your friend, then what’s the point in letting them go? There’s nothing different about them now , than what they were then. Maybe the age, but this is the same person that was your friend however many years ago, that’s still your friend now.
You have to be able to make sacrifices. Everyone knows that. And you have to be able to overlook the small things, and even sometimes, the big things. If your not able to do that, then how are you going to be able to have your life? How are you going to be able to have a family, friends, a relationship?.
If that someone has the ability to bring you happiness and also angry enough to make you punch a hole through the wall, doesn’t that mean something? Doesn’t that mean that they’re too valuable? Too important to.. you?
